How about we introduce ourselves?
When you entrust us with your project, you entrust us with a page of your life , so it is up to us to let you into (a little) ours .
NYUMBA is a wish we had for a while (the concept at least), the name came back with us after a honeymoon in Tanzania, NYUMBA means "house" in Swahili , the language mainly spoken there.
But who are we?
We are Alexandra and Thibaud , originally from Nice, expatriates in Paris for 10 years, married and business partners since the end of 2022!
Alexandra has been an independent interior designer since 2012, a graduate of the "Charpentier Academy " in Paris.
She has worked on numerous projects in the "capital" for both private and professional clients, and since 2016 she has also collaborated with the " Elemento " agency, with whom she carries out larger-scale projects throughout France (including overseas territories).
His dream? To "renovate a hotel" (if you happen to have that).
As you might have guessed, she's the creative one at NYUMBA ; she'll be by your side to help you envision your new home and will take care of the construction.
(if necessary, of course).
Thibaud is self-taught!
After working in the restaurant industry, he decided in 2017 to switch careers to real estate.
Real estate, for which he has always had an attraction, being passionate about architecture, design and decoration , it was therefore natural that he immersed himself in this captivating profession.
Joining a national chain, he acquired the basics of the trade and quickly found himself in the field (which is what he prefers). Enjoying accompanying his clients on life's projects , what he appreciates most is the moment when a buyer realizes that they have just entered their new "home".
That's why the profession of property hunter was an obvious choice for him.
After several years and with the desire to return to our native South , it was natural for us to decide to embark on this adventure.
At NYUMBA, our two professions come together ; we can apply our vision of our respective trades and shape this company in our image so that it best meets your needs !
